I admire France for its cultural diversity, and food is one of those diverse experiences. And I admire the French for their ability to make something special out of the most simple. Aligot and Truffade are finest examples of such and I had a very tasty Truffade at the Au Buron. Incredible how just potato and cheese make for so much joy. And the selection of cheese – most prominently the Gaperon – added to that. Unfortunately the wine wasn’t up to par and à little bit too nondescript. Nonetheless, if you want a quick and decent dinner for max 4 people (the place is really small) and like potato and cheese, this could be your choice…
